Topographical/building Surveys

We can provide you with anything from a full measured building survey to land and retail measured surveys. Using our topographical and GPS surveying equipment we can ensure all levels, walls and services are measured and recorded accurately and cost effectively. These can be returned in DGN, DWG, DXF and PDF format.

As built Survey

We will provide you with an ‘as built’ measured building survey to ensure your store refit, extension or your new store have been installed exactly as per your CAD plans.

Sense check Survey

We will undertake a ‘sense check’ survey highlighting any discrepancies of your CAD plan, ensuring a smoother refit process.

Merchandising Survey

We will visit your site to provide you with an up to date merchandising layout and produce an existing planogram in your chosen format. We can rebalance your store to enhance range and availability whilst still ensuring ease of navigation for the customer and maximizing profitability for you.

Equipment Survey

We will plot all your equipment at site from your staff facilities to your shelving and freezers so you can carry out a detailed audit, helping to keep costs down on future projects. We can also write an add-in tool for CAD that will at the touch of a button extract your equipment information into any Excel document that you may need for presentations and meetings.

Feasibility and acquisitions Survey

We can provide you with a full measured building survey of any new sites you may acquire using our topographical or Leica Disto equipment to ensure your proposed schemes are feasible, providing you with an up-to-date ‘as built’ plan.

Car parks Survey

RDS can survey and provide you with a full topographical survey of your site plan or a detailed audit of your site showing everything from dedicated parking and signage layouts to site furniture and shrubbery. We can also advise you in respect of health and safety issues, using our CAD tracking software to track your delivery and recycling vehicles.

Elevation Survey

We can provide you with existing internal and external measured elevations of your store or building, to help gain the all important planning permission for either a refit, change of use or re-branding. These can then be returned in your chosen format or alternatively we can provide you with full colour Illustration files.

Warehouse Survey

RDS can provide you with a detailed CAD plan of your existing warehouse and operation, highlighting everything from services to racking.
