How 3D Visuals help our clients
Over the last year we have helped more and more of our clients gain the crucial Landlord sign off when presenting a new plan or refurbished layout by creating 3D visuals.
We understand how crucial time is and know how costly delays can be that’s why we are always looking at new technology to help our clients get through the sign off stages and progress the project to completion.
The project below was located in an airport and the visuals were an integral part of our design process allowing the client to demonstrate to key stakeholders the concept and layout, this then moved onto the next stage and gave us the opportunity to show the Landlord what was being proposed before starting onsite.
Our planning teams worked really hard to deliver another successful Superdrug store.
Our teams have decades of experience planning successful retail layouts, combined with state of the art survey equipment and too many years to mention construction and fit out experience they continue to please our valued clients with layout after layout……well done everyone again!

Hot off the press with another successful coffee shop launch RDS is proud to be working with new brands entering the UK market.

We set out from the initial brief with the long term goal of helping to integrate this global franchise into the heavily dominated coffee house market, we worked meticulously throughout every stage of development to create a warm, homely & ultimately welcoming environment, on trend with the UK market.
There is little doubt, effective design will increase the customers enjoyment of the products and the brand itself, and subsequently drive repeat sales and as you can see yet again the RDS team has delivered for the client……….
Phase 1 of a new shopping centre development.
RDS is very proud to be involved in a new development comprising of retail, restaurants and cinema space.
The development is close to phase 1 completion, although it is early days as you can see from the photos after a recent site visit the center is really taking shape!
RDS has been asked to design a new flagship store at the heart of the retail core.
The finished development will contain shopping areas, open streets and direct links to a major high street, watch this space for further updates………….
Exciting times as RDS have been working with Monsoon to create a new flagship store that will be part of the new Birmingham Grand central shopping centre.
The £700 million redevelopment of New Street Station and the transformation of The Pallasades Shopping Centre into Grand Central Birmingham, is due for completion in September 2015.
Grand Central Birmingham will bring a full line John Lewis store and over 60 premium retailers and quality restaurants and cafes to the city. Grand Central will be integrated with the world class New Street Station at the heart of the City’s retail offer and RDS is proud to be part of this as it helps Monsoon become part of the transformation.
RDS has helped EE on multiple projects with the re-balance of their store space, this was a crucial part of store planning when their brands Orange and T-mobile merged.
We helped survey their existing estate and establish an accurate digital record of their existing stores.
Once all the existing equipment was recorded we were able to re-balance and re-lay their stores.
We have worked on a number of new promotional initiatives and large roll out projects which involved creating new areas within the existing layout to allow new promotional equipment to work with the existing layout and customer flow.
We were asked to create 3D visuals to help with the new EE brand, the 3D visuals and animated walkthrough were used to help the key stakeholders see the visual impact the new layout and brand would have. The 3D was also used on awkward shaped layouts where vision from a customer point of view was crucial to understand, once we could see from every angle we could maximise product placement and then demonstrate this in high definition renders presented to the client.
Our team has extensive knowledge of retail planning and used these and other skills to ensure the customer journey was always considered and promotional impact was maximized, again with the use of our accurately surveyed and up to date digital plans across the estate successful new layouts were achieved with great success.
